 Audrey Howell - Author of "Harry Vardon, the Revealing Story of a Champion Golfer"Audrey met Peter, as a young widow, over thirty years ago and they married in 1984. She trained in administration, worked/researched for an author, specialising in books and articles on the royal family, before becoming P.A. to a Royal Academician based in a South East England art college. As well as publishing Vardon's biography, Audrey has had short stories/articles published here and abroad. A fair-weather golfer (enjoying the Spanish sun), on returning to England Audrey began to play croquet and, with her husband Peter, has competed in tournaments all over the U.K. |
